Chipotle

For those of you living near the eastern coast of the U.S. you may not see a lot of these. Although in the West they dominate most if not all restaurants. So believe it or not Chipotle may be one of the greatest reactant chains of our time. Or maybe it is just a fad in the west just like that... In-N-Out Burger. One thing that bugs me is when I see people wearing shirts that say In-N-Out Burger then have the location on the back saying "Arizona" or "Las Vegas". This makes no sense. The whole point of the restaurant is to stay "authentic" and that is why you east coasters don't see it. You are supposed to eat at the In-N-Out Burger in California! Don't but a shirt that says In-N-Out Burger Arizona. If you own one get off my blog. Just kidding but throw the shirt away. Chipotle is the only other place I can say I see shirts regularly. This doesn't bother me much considering it isn't the fad the California Burger place it. Sorry had to get that off my chest.

For those reading right now who have never heard or seen a Chipotle stay with me.

The Chipotle Experience: As you walk into the doors you immediately feel a vibe. This vibe however can be good or bad. During busy hours the reactant can tend to be loud. (Like most if not all restaurants) With aluminum siding on the walls it feels like a fun and energetic place. The employs normally do come from some sort of Mexican heritage, but they can easily talk and be personable. Often times, even as a teen, I end up wanting to go order something more just because of the nice service. However, this reactant happens to be one right next to my high school. During our lunch hours there is one man, white descent, who is always really quite rude. He is the manager and we have grown to avoid that Chipotle at all costs. On the bright side my favorite Chipotle I can walk in on Sunday and they know what I order. How do they remember me? They are personal.

Service: 8.5 Great services but that one man bothers me greatly. Also sometimes I have a hard time understanding them. -1 Then the mean old person is my reasoning for -.5. 10-1.5=8.5 GREAT

Experience: 9.5 the atmosphere is great. Maybe a little bit loud, but the bathrooms are always clean. A biggy for me. Almost an Aztec arty theme going on. The insides have a modern, metallic theme going on mixed with a great culture. -.5 for the amount of sound there is during lunch hours.
Inside of Chipotle

Food: 10. Now I have told you a lot about the restaurant itself, but what about its food? It works much like a subway but about 10x faster. You go down the row choosing what you want and don't want on your burrito.

Step 1: Choose if you want a burrito, 3 soft tacos, 4 crunchy tacos, or a burrito bowl. (All the pricing depends on what meat you get.) If you get a tortia they heat it in some sort of press thing. YUM!

Step 2: Black Beans? Pinto Beans (Brown)? Or Fajita? How about all? Maybe both beans...? Maybe fajita and black beans? From the start you have endless possibilities.

Step 3: Chicken? Steak? Carnitas? Barbacoa? Or Vegetarian? All vary in price

Step 4: Salsa. Note the hot is pretty hot so if you are a whimp for spice the chicken may be all you can handle. But here they are.

Fresh Tomato: Mild

Roasted Chili-Corn: Medium

Tomatillo-Green Chilli: Medium (My favorite tasting but lacks my amount of heat.)

Tomatillo-Red Chilli: HOT!!! SPICY!!! (My Favorite)

Note: I don't think there is anything on the eastern coast very spicy, but note the hot is pretty spicy for most people. So... don't act like a pro and wreck your burrito if you hate heat. Also you can disclude any item from YOUR meal.

Step 5: Extras. Such as sour cream, guacamole, cheese, and lettuce.

All this equals a TEN! For taste that is.
The replay value is amazing. You could come here over and over and over and over and over and over and over and over and a thousand over again and still love the food. It never gets old. It also tastes AMAZING. Not to mention it is all organic... well at least in Colorado it is.
Expenses: 8- Although it tastes great it takes a chunk out of your pocket. With the all organic meat switch the prices were raised here at least... because I went to Cal over the summer and they were still the old prices.. Anyways the prices can go from about $6.25-to around $8.00 depending what you order. Of course as a student I get a free drink :P Drinks are about $1.00 pretty good steal. So it may cost a medium amount, but it is worth it.
TOTAL: 9.4

Also know those who brought you the unhealthy Big Mac brings you the all organic Chipotle Burrito :P
Cya next time
